traffic than you can imagine. Writing and submitting articles is one of
the best ways to generate fast online traffic and you can increase your
results by offering your readers a free, quality report to lure them back
to your website.

Online directories are an often neglected source for getting free traffic.
If you submit your site to a website directory you can increase the
impact your website has. Search engines like websites that make a
good impression and have a positive impact. If you take the time to
submit your site to several different website directories you could very
well be on your way to becoming rich. So, basically the better quality the
site your backlink comes from the more benefit to you.

Become a guest on someone's blog. They need quality content and you
can supply it. Quality posts will get you recognized as an expert in your

going to go over some simple, free tips for getting online traffic fast.

It's a given that if you have a website of any kind you are very interested
in driving online traffic to that website and if you don't have the budget
to buy leads to generate traffic you will need to focus on finding free
ways to generate that traffic.

Today we are going to go over some simple ideas that you can use
right away to generate traffic for free.

First of all, don't let anyone tell you that you can only get quality traffic if
you pay for it, you can get quality traffic to your website with the only
investment being your time.

And remember, it's not just about the amount of traffic that you get but
the quality of that traffic as well. What do I mean by quality? Quality
traffic consists of website visitors who are actually interested in your
product or service.

For instance if you are selling baby bonnets you don't want a bunch of
website traffic that consists of people who are looking for running
shoes. You want your traffic to be highly qualified and interested in
exactly what you have to offer.

Let's discuss a few of the free online traffic sources that have been
proven to work:

1. Article marketing.  As I mentioned in lesson one, this is by far the one
of the best ways to generate a nice amount of quality traffic for your
website, if you learn how to do it right. It is totally free to do and only
requires some of your time. The premise is simple, you give the search
engines what they want, new, quality content and in exchange you get
traffic to your website.

The first thing you need to do is get a list of keywords that are closely
related to the product or service you are offering. Search for keywords
that have a minimum of 1,500 searches a month and competition
around 20,000. These are usually good parameters to go by when
searching for keywords.

Once you have your keyword list you need to write a helpful, informative
article using those keywords in your article. The article should be no
less than 250 words in length but no more than around 500 words.
Once your article is written you just have to sign up to several online
article directories such as EzineArticles.com or GoArticles.com and
submit your article. You can sign up and submit your articles for free.

2. Forum posting. To do this you just have to identify a few forums in
your niche market and sign up for them. Once you sign up you can fill
out a profile and include a signature file. This is simply a brief blurb
about your website or product along with a link to your site.

When you participate in the forum and offer valuable information to
others you will be seen as an expert in your niche. When people read
your replies and click on your link they will be taken to your website.
This is a very powerful way to get free traffic.

3. Start your own blog. We also discussed this briefly in lesson one. To
do this right you should stay away from the free blogs and instead buy a
domain name and get a hosting account. You can and should still use a
Wordpress blog, but if you do it the way I suggest you will actually own
something and will have more control over your blog.

It is important to make frequent and helpful blog posts. These posts
should include keywords associated with your niche, you can even
use the same keyword list you made in step one for your article
marketing.

4. Send out a press release. While a press release is usually only good
for a short period of time, that is why article marketing is better to keep
you on top of the search engine results page. The press release will get
you there, the articles will keep you there. So if you have a new product
or some other important information you need to get out there then put
out a press release to get the best online traffic.

5. Join a Social Network. People are using social networking sites to
grow their online businesses more and more these days. Placing ads
on Facebook or acquiring followers on twitter may be a great way to
get more traffic to your website.

There are so many people who use the social networking sites on a
daily basis that you could literally target millions of people with one well
placed ad.

These simple and free methods for driving online traffic are some of the
best ways to get started driving traffic toy your websites. That's it for

method of promotion and will put you one above the competition. If

write it for you. You will need to make sure you have the budget for this.

The cheapest way is to learn to write ad copy yourself. My advice to you
is to take a look at what is out there for writing samples on the internet.
If you can speak English and can hold a pen in your hand you are
qualified to write your own ads. Some of the stuff you find out there is so
bad it will leave you shaking your head in wonder as to how they ever
got published in the first place. Some of it doesn't even make sense!

First, make a list of the first ten free classified ad sites you find. Then,
research them to be sure you can trust them. It is important to make
sure they are legitimate. When you get ready to submit your ad, be sure
to follow their rules for submitting ads closely. Remember you are trying
to get more traffic to you website not the other way around.

Read all of the directions before you do anything. Find out if you can
upload a picture of what you are selling. This will help increase sales.
Some free sites may not allow pictures, but if they do then be sure put
one up. It will help attract more people to click on the link in your ad
copy.

Some free sites may not have categories for the ads listed so your ad
may get lost in the jumble that is why it is important to use every
advantage you can find when it comes to trying to drive online ad traffic
to your site. These free advertising sites are a good place to start and
then as you hone your skills you can graduate to paid sites for even
better results.

Getting the most out of the free, organic, search results should be the
goal of any online business owner. The traffic is free and extremely
targeted. Finding and implementing the best SEO strategies will
depend mostly on your existing knowledge and your budget.

If you don't know much about SEO or you don't have the time or
inclination to learn, you can hire a company to do the work for you.
There are a lot of companies that specialize in this and many of them
are quite reasonable in their pricing structure.

If you can't afford to hire a company at this stage in the game, don't
worry, with a little knowledge and a few simple tweaks you can easily
benefit from some basic SEO and at least get your foot in the door.

Once you are making more money online you can invest in the
knowledge, or hire someone, to take your SEO efforts to the next level.

For now, you can start here:

1. It all starts with your keyword list. Choosing the right keywords for
your onsite SEO has to be the first step, everything revolves around
these keywords.

Make sure that you choose words, or phrases, that get at least one
thousand searches a month and less than 20,000 competitors. They
must also be closely targeted and highly relevant to the content of your
website.

Search engines will either reward or penalize you on the relevance of
your keywords, you don't want to be penalized.

Once you've got your keywords focus on placing them in your meta
tags, your headers and footers to start. This will grab the attention of the
search engine spiders and they will move your site to the top of the
rankings if they think it is highly relevant.

2. You can use a similar method to drive traffic to your website by
writing and submitting quality, keyword focused articles. Now, this is the
point when a lot of people make a mistake; they don't write a quality
informative article, instead they try to stuff as many keywords as
possible into it until is virtually all gibberish.

You won't be rewarded for that, the search engines are too smart. Write
your article around a keyword, but don't write for the search engines,
write for people.

If you supply your readers with genuinely helpful information, and
optimize it with keywords, your article can get a top rating in the search
engines and subsequently drive a lot of traffic to your website.

Don't drive yourself into the poor house when you're just starting out
online by hiring an SEO company that you can't really afford. First, start
making some money and then you can outsource much of your daily
work. In the meantime, use these tips and utilize these SEO strategies
to keep the traffic flowing and the cash coming in.

Over the last few days we have talked a lot about how to get free traffic,
but, how do you get enough traffic to equal a small percentage of
eventual buyers enough to make a good profit. Many big companies
generate traffic of tens of thousands a day and a measly ten to fifteen
percent actually buys, but that small percentage is enough to provide
them with good business.

Many of these success stories get their traffic from paying others. Yes
thats right; you have to spend money to make money. Advertising is
the key. The more people that knows that your site exists; the more
people would of course go to your site, thats common sense.

While there are many ways that can get you advertising for free, as we
have discussed in your other lessons, those methods do not always

many ways and places that you can pay for traffic, two of the top
paid advertising programs available are operated by Google and
Yahoo, with FaceBook rapidly joining the ranks of top paid advertising
sites.

As we well know, these two search engines are very popular because
they provide a vital service to millions of people every day. They are
free and easy to use. With this popularity it's easy to understand why so
many companies are willing to pay to advertise with these search
engines.

When your sites link pop up in the high ranks of the search results
page, you get a great chance that they will go to your site. While
search engine optimization is a cheaper and low cost way to get your
site a high rank, paying for advertisements will ensure that you will be
on the top ranks.

When you pay for your advertisements, it is like paying for your traffic.
This may not sound like such a good idea, but the payoff can tell a
different story. When you pay for your traffic, you are guaranteed of a
consistent traffic flow to your site.

When it comes to paying for your traffic, most often you will be charged
